Position: Automation / MES Project Engineer
Location: Coatesville, PA
Job Description and Primary Requirements:
Seeking an Automation Engineer (with MES knowledge/experience) with a good background in Wonderware products including Archestra. Successful candidate will be an individual with strong technical experience and know-how, able to architect a medium to large software solution in accordance with system design principles, and provide hands-on software development and project execution. Our projects require communication skills for effective interaction with clients, the engineering team, and strategic partners. Interpersonal and collaborative team-building skills are required. Candidates for this position would be considered a project team technical lead and architect, capable of providing innovative and experience based decisions. Optional home base could also be Rochester, NY, Syracuse, NY, or Nashua, NH.
Experience and Minimum Qualifications:
- BS in Engineering or Computer Science
- Five years technical hands on experience including two years in technical project leadership
- Experience in implementing high level Automation projects and, in providing system solutions working with software applications, databases and automation.
- Knowledge or experience in MES applications and tools would be valuable
- Must have experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience working with Wonderware HMI / SCADA, ArchestrA and other WW products would be valuable.
- Experience with other SCADA and MES level software products also considered.
- Knowledge and experience in Life Sciences industries with validation and FDA and GMP requirements would be valuable, but not crucial.
- Willingness to do some travel (10-20%)
